Marc Jacobs Beauty - Short review

New purchases today. Loving the Lip Color Stick- SMACK 👄 

Anyone who knows me well knows that Marc Jacobs is in my top 10 of Fashion Designers. There is a Marc by Marc Jacobs store located on Newbury St In Boston.. The only one I know of in Boston and the only one I shop at. Usually I buy handbags and watches from there... Never any makeup products (BTW: I'm a big supporter of CHANEL makeup). The packaging for both items are 2 die for, you can pretty much sell me anything if the packaging is Divine. 

The Kiss Pop collection had so many vivid colors and I was hard to chose from. I usually do a bold red lip, but the Burgundy stood out to me the most. It lasted me the whole day without touching up which is perfect! I would describe it as a Matte/satin finish and no drying of the lips. Again, the packaging is extremely gorgeous yet functional and its fits in a lipstick holder, easy to travel with. A+

P.s. The liquid foundation I'm not extremely crazy about... It's cocoa medium and it matches my skin Barley, so I use it as a blend. Maybe you have a different opinion? Let me know if you disagree in the comment section below because I'd like to know! Overall C-

Hello Dolls, I hope you're having a happy Saturday evening. So today, I like literally spent all day on Instagram. No lie.  Stalking my favorite IG accounts that I'm practically obsessed with 👀😩, I thought I'd share with you my top 12 and hopefully one day you'll be drooling over their pics like I am everyday. 

@annarike: founder of fashion and beauty blog ANNA RIKE. Her posts are like a visual magazine or very well thought out flip book. Her IG ranges from her December favs to fashion week. (It's a must follow)

@conradroset: if you love art and illustration, this is the page to follow. You get feircly inspired by his works of art. He has exhibited his work in galleries all around the world. Check him out tho.

@blairz: she believes in Big lips, Big hair, and Big lashes. Blair's account is roughly 99% of her fashion illustration. Which is totally awesome. She has worked with Harper's Bazaar, Vanity Fair, and the fricking list goes on but this girls IG is basically my whole life. 

@reiflerpaige: you've got to start following some models! They travel all around the world and post amazing photos surrounded by either hot guys or other beautiful model-like friends. I give reifler 4 stars :)

@imindiarose: one of my many favorite style bloggers (I know I have a long list but this girl India is definitely UP there) are you looking for clean, minimalistic images? She's got it, at least that was what I read on a blog that named her INSTAGRAM OF THE WEEK by hashtag INSTACOFD. 

@thedasingrider: as you can probably tell now, I have a thing with style bloggers... lol. Fiona is a german art historian and media scholar who blogs about her petite personal style and traveling the world... meanwhile in Prague.... 

@visavisalom: yep. You guessed it. Another style blogger :) Lom's feed has a professional look, think  portfolio look book. lots of blacks and whites (my fav colors or absence of color). handbags. shoes. sandals. trench coat. galore. 

@vajaam: I absolutely admire the photography style thats used in her feed. She's not like many other style bloggers on IG that uses basic white and sky blue backgrounds.. she adds an artistic sense and colorfulness that i miss seeing on Instagram and she basically wakes me up in the morning. 

@not_kitsch: the ying and yang of Kitsch, or maybe not. 17 year old Aussie is a personal style blogger and sometimes not.. loves to post the prettiest acne bags and macaroons. 

@jessaleks: This melbournite!!! every photo she shares with her followers is sassy and fun in a very organized, creative way. The set up of her pics and the way she lays out her fav makeup or fav bag collection for that season. jess is nearly perf.

@chiaraferragni: I hope everyone knows who Chiara is!!! Hellllllooo she's The Blonde Salad. I've been following her life since 2009 and now i follow her IG which is filled with fantastically great images ( that word play should be illegal but i get that excited, don't judge me) I'm soon obsessed with Chiara. 

@weworewhat: who doesn't like fashion blogs? i mean come on all ready.. WEWOREWHAT is like the best, if you want to touch up on new trends or spot some fashion forecasting she's definitely the one to follow.

MFA

Oh, Hey People. Today was FRICKING awesome... My Fashion Illustration class had a private showing at the MFA in Boston. We saw a wide range of archives of ORIGINAL Illustrations from Givenchy to YSL (I was totally inspired and someday i'll post a blog of my own Illustrations) We went to a room that displayed Textiles that were bought or donated to the museum, one in particular was a gown that I loved from the Dolce and Gabbana, SpringRTW, 2008... there is a story that goes along with how they got the dress which is actually entertaining, but I will keep it to myself and save it for a rainy day. Another gown on display was a Dior gown waaaaaay back when he had just released 'The New Look' and it was still in pretty good shape. surprisingly.

...Afterwards we went to the Hollywood Glamour Exhibit, where they showcase amazing gowns worn from the goddesses of the silverscreen. I'll keep this post short, and you can watch a video I made with all of the photos I captured today.

Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2010

Hello Fashion Dolls,

I have been currently busy with school and flat patterns and making bodices and sketching and... I can go on for days! I am currently doing research on Alexander McQueen and Iris Van Herpen and just watching past awesome fashion shows.. My collection theme for Monday's basic drawing class is African Safari in the North Pole meets Cirque Du Soliel  . We have to create lingerie or evening and bridal wear that has camouflage and animal prints. It's fucking insane and out of the box but I will def rock it! 
I picked Alexander McQueen and Iris Van Herpen to gather ideas from because I am absolutely inspired by their fashion shows. Undoubtedly risky, they both are, yet still uncovers function in fashion that is wearable in most cases and exhibits confidence and vulnerability. Simple. Clean. Direct. With IFY models.

Good evening, Everyone! Hope you are enjoying this blissful Tuesday as much as I am. I just have to say, I am eager to start college this month. It goes without saying that my major will be Fashion Design. Being involved in the Fashion Industry has been my dream since Childhood. My Stepfather went to Newbury College, here in Boston for Fashion Merchandising and later managed most of all the High End stores you probably dream about shopping in. He opened my eyes to the glamorous world, and now I am not able to leave my house unless I believe I look my best! My goal is to make a name for myself in my own city because if I can make it here, in Boston, I can definitely make it anywhere else (NY). What makes me different from everyone else, is the fact that I am not like everyone else, there is no one else like me in this amazing world and this is what makes this world so interesting to live in. I am buzzing with creativity and ideas ready to be put on display.

While vacationing on one of the infamous islands of the Florida Keys, I have been planning the most perfect outfit to share with you all on this blog ♡ This post took longer to publish than I had actually  expected it to because of my charming ability, which you all are probably familiar with, called procrastination. Ive been busy and lazy.. but I'm not sure which one overrides which. (getting back 2 the muy importante stuff) Key west was sultry, but was relaxing and took my mind off all the wrong things.. when taking a road trip all the way from NY to Key West, you want to be more than comfortable and free because that is one hell of a ride! So, the little fashonista in my head was screaming "BOYFRIEND JEANS!" and when I went on a little shopping spree in UO I saw what I had been envisioning, the slouchy fit and the allover patchwork detailing were an eyesore!

I thought I'd share my new fashion find with you - The Leather Sandal With Buckles by ZARA Ref. 1184/301 -  I Have been dying to get my hands on the Birkenstock Sandals that are absolutely HOT right now.. These Sandals have been around for a long time and are finally making a comeback in the Fashion World! I remember rocking an almost identical bulky pair back in the 90's when I was a Cool Kid :) When I saw these babies in ZARA, I almost panicked! the shoes were on sale. They fit so secure and snug on my feet and they are adorable in white; I had to get them.

Simplicity in Blanc

I am the MASTER of simplicity. No. Really. Quote of the day: "The less shit, the more free you are." and that pretty much sums up my whole life. I like to spend my free days reading classic novels in the park, barefoot and all. Yesterday I decided to finally let this dress see what life (outside) is really like, since its been hanging in my closet since the day I purchased it. This dress by BCBG is so casual and yet so chic.. You can wear it anywhere, if it's a date night - pair it with some heels. If it's work - a blazer will do!
p.s. I love to twirl in this dress, it reminds me of a breath of fresh air. Kisses.
